 Jasmine has been in the Fitness Industry for about 10 years. Growing up playing many sports such as volleyball, basketball, rugby as well as coaching gymnastics/cheerleading for a combined 8 years, she truly found her passion for fitness and helping people be the best they can be! Jasmine graduated from the Personal Fitness Trainer Program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2011 she also completed her Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology Personal Training Certificate and AFLCA – Group Instructor Certificate at the same time. Through the years she has truly found her passion of helping people and found her niche early on working with Corrective Exercise and Special Populations specifically.  You will find Jasmine teaching a variety of programs such as Post Natal, Kettlebells, Pilates, Special Populations etc (to name a few) as well as working with a diverse population in Personal Training.


Once graduated and in the industry, Jasmine knew she wanted to continue to focus on keeping up her certifications and constantly challenge herself to continue to learn. She finds great value in those who continue to educate themselves and knows if she wants to be able to offer her clients/class members the best she must keep up! Through the years Jasmine has obtained the following certifications that have allowed her to continue to challenge her clients/classes:

  • AFLCA – Group Fitness, Spin, Aqua, and Mind Body

  • Agatsu Kettlebells, Joint Mobility – upper and lower body, Speed and Strength Specialist

  • Fit4two Pre/Post Natal certified

  • Pilates Academy International Level 1 and 2 Mat Pilates

  • TRX Certified

  • NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist

Jasmine is a firm believer that fitness and health can be achieved at all sizes and abilities. She truly strives to have her classes be a welcoming and inclusive environment that allows everyone to come in, move their bodies, and leave feeling great! Fitness is for everybody and every body!


Ruth MacGillivray - NAIT Practicum Student

     Ruth MacGillivray is a second-year student at NAIT in the Personal Fitness Trainer program. After teaching community group fitness classes for many years, Ruth decided that she now wants to focus on fitness for Baby Boomers.  Her mission is to help them gain and sustain a level of functional fitness to maintain or improve their quality of life both mentally and physically.  When she graduates in August,  she plans to start a business focusing on training Baby Boomers in functional fitness one-on-one online, in their homes, or in a group setting.
